Miskhaki (Spicy Barbecue meat) is a very popular dish in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. With a good piece of meat and some good spices, you’re set off to some scrumptious barbecue

Recipe
4 pieces Steak (12 oz each, 48 oz in total )- cut up in 1 inch pieces
Marinate steak with
2 TBS Salt
4 TBS Ginger Paste
4 TBS Garlic Paste
4 TBS Rajah Tandoori masala
4 TBS Vegetable oil
Sauce
2 TBS Oil
2 TBS Ginger Paste
2 TBS Garlic Paste
4 TBS Rajah Tandoori masala
1 TBS Salted butter
Juice of 1 lemon
Directions
1. Marinate your cut up steak with the above ingredients
2. Let it sit for couple of hours or overnight
3. Thread the meat pieces into metal skewers
4. Spread few coals on the grill and light them up (use a lighter liquid if the coals are not coated with lighter fluid )
5. Once Coals are ash gray, spray some oil on the grill and place your skewers
6. Cook one side for about a minute and keep turning as you see the char on the meat
7. Pay close attention and keep turning the meat as the fat starts to melt, the fire goes crazy..
8. Get it off the grill and brush the bbq meat with the delicious sauce!
