REASONABLE EXPECTATION!
(Mark 14:8-9)
Intro: Some people can be unreasonable about their expectations of others. Such people sometimes even expect more of others than they expect (or offer) of themselves. That sounds unreasonable. However, have we come to understand God -- Who knows us better than we know ourselves -- is reasonable regarding His expectations?

I. DOING AND NOT DOING!
A. Relative Truth!
1. Some things we can’t do.

2. Some things we can do.

3. Such should reasonably relate to expectations, right?

B. It Is Where Paul Centered The Focus For The Corinthians.
1. Giving is a grace!
a. That’s what Paul encouraged them toward. (2 Cor. 8:1-7)
b. Doesn’t hinge merely on what others merit. (i.e. Matt. 5:44-45)
c. Macedonians exemplified it.
d. Jesus exemplified it. (2 Cor. 8:8-9)

2. What that giving could only relate to. (2 Cor. 8:10-12)

II. AN INCIDENT IN A HOME IN BETHANY!
A. While Reclining At Table, A Woman…!
1. Her actions. (Mark 14:3)

2. Other’s reactions. (Mark 14:4-5)

B. Where Jesus Focused The Attention.
1. How He characterized her actions. (Mark 14:6-7)
a. As beautiful.
b. As timely.

2. What her doing related to. (Mark 14:8-9)
