Peter reminds us that there is a danger and a deep agenda that took place in his day, but is also taking place in the world we live in right now.

Once we accept Jesus Christ, and begin our walk toward him we enter into the world as a soldier for Christ and our enemy the devil desires to devour us, trying to cause real and lasting harm.

The level of harm depends on your commitment level to Christ, and the impact you're making in the Kingdom.

In 1 Peter 5: 8-10 Peter says:

"𝐁𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞, 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭.”

Peter has unequivocally stated that our eternal connection with our Father is unshakable. The devil lacks the power to sever this bond, yet he strives to erode our faith. His aim is to instill fear, weakening our devotion to the Father, and spread lies that distort our perception of God's benevolence.

Since he cannot taint a believer's soul, Satan endeavors to render us feeble and ineffectual servants of our King but notice what Peter did not say. He does not counsel living in fear. Nor does he suggest disregarding the reality of the devil. We are not instructed to dismiss the devil, nor to cower in the shadows.

We are to have 𝐉𝐎𝐘 and 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 and 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄!
