Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has expressed the importance of impartiality at the BBC after the public broadcaster took a sports host off air for comments it believed breached its editorial guidelines.
Shadow Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, has said there should have been, "sense of proportionality," and "I don't think Gary Lineker should have been taken off air."
