Halawatha or chilaw is a beautiful city situated by the picturesque seashore in the north western province in sri lanka. A little distance from the city along the road westward we can reach the chilaw seashore park. From the seashore park there runs a road between chilaw lagoon and the seashore park to the mouth of river Daduru. Also we can sail up to the sandy banks at the mouth of the Daduru oya (River) We started by about 4 p.m. This is the hour that the fishing boat sail toward the sea through lagoon to catch the fish. was able to have an adventurous experience in the deep sea of ​​Chilaw
At the boat sailing towards the deep sea is a pictures site to see. On one side of the lagoon there are coconut gardens and closer to the seashore kadolana plants please the eyes. The sky towards the lands is full of clouds, and the Rainbow appeared through the clouds fascinated us. Just before the sun set a bewitching sight at the seaward horizon could be seen. And from the sandy plains at the confluents of the Deduru oya (river) we could have an amazing view. This is undoubtedly a place worthwhile to visit on holidays to enjoying our carefree leisure.
