Plot:
The game tells the story of A-Kai, a young man from northeastern China whose peaceful life was shattered by the Japanese invasion of 1939. Filled with anger and a desire to defend his homeland, he joins the Red Army to fight the invaders.
The plot, told through the protagonist's diary, covers key episodes of the resistance war from 1941 to 1943. The player, along with A-Kai, navigates a series of dangerous and varied combat operations: from storming the fortified city of Ping'an and ambushing enemy troops to especially dangerous missions to destroy an enemy bacteriological laboratory and airfield.
As the campaign progresses, the missions become increasingly complex and significant. A-Kai operates not only on the battlefield but also behind enemy lines, infiltrating occupied Nanjing to steal secret documents and free a captured envoy. His personal enemy is the skilled Japanese commander Kojiro, with whom he repeatedly crosses paths.
The final stage culminates in the final confrontation at the war's end. Despite defeats, Japanese troops under the command of General Ishihara put up a desperate resistance. The game leads the player into a climactic battle, where A-Kai must make a decisive contribution to driving the invaders from their homeland and bringing the long-awaited victory closer.

The game itself is yet another Metal Slug clone.
The graphics use redrawn assets from the aforementioned game. The gameplay also shares similar features: the player can stab enemies in close combat, use their horse as a mount, and throw grenades. The arsenal consists of a submachine gun and a sniper rifle, the latter two of which run out of ammunition. Among the bosses are familiar counterparts to such titles as Allen O'Neil, Mosque Artillery, Keesi III, and Toschka Dalanue.
The musical score consists of two tracks (the main menu theme and the level theme), which is very little for a large game.

Conclusion: This is another interesting Metal Slug clone, set during the difficult period of the war between China and Japan,
seasoned with decent controls and good graphics. The game is worth checking out.
