Corum, MSN, RN, CWCN, is a Registered Nurse and seasoned Legal Nurse Consultant who specializes in wound care merit reviews for attorneys handling medical malpractice, personal injury, and long-term care cases. With over 20 years of clinical experience in wound care and a deep understanding of legal processes, she brings clarity, objectivity, and expert insight to even the most complex medical cases.
As a Merit Review Specialist, she plays a critical role at the earliest stage of litigation — reviewing medical records, identifying deviations from the standard of care, evaluating causation, and helping attorneys determine whether a case has true legal merit before significant time and resources are invested.
