Day 1 Aboard Cordelia Cruises Empress: Mumbai to Lakshadweep Adventure Begins. First impressions.

January 24, 2024 – visit Agatti Island, Lakshadweep
January 25, 2024 – at sea
January 26, 2024 – return to Mumbai

I had a room with a window, though small it was a cosy and comfortable room. They also provide four 500ml bottled water every day. Passengers are not allowed to carry electric irons on board because they are considered hazardous for a ship, these are confiscated before you board the ship. But don’t worry your electric iron will be returned to you when you return.

As for food, Cordelia Cruises typically offer a variety of dining options to cater to different tastes and preferences – breakfast, lunch, evening tea with snacks, dinner and also midnight sandwiches. The food items served were prepared with care and I don’t remember any dish being repeated, the standards were really very high.

Cordelia also provides a number of onboard entertainment and activities, some are complimentary and for some you may have to pay.

This was my first ever cruise and the first days was a good experience indeed.
