Waterfalls. Wildflowers. Wildlife. This is one of Utah’s most popular hikes for many good reasons. This flyover video starts at the Timpooneke Trailhead, located just off the Alpine Loop, shows the terrain on the way to Timp Saddle and zig zags up to the summit of Mt. Timp (as the locals like to call it).
This is an all-day affair. Give yourself about 9 hours to complete the 14.2-mile trek.
