Embark on an epic hike up the mighty Mt. Timpanogos with us as we tackle Jake's favorite local mountain. Having stopped at Emerald Lake on the Aspen Grove Trail last time, we took the more popular route up, Timpooneke (reservations required in peak season). About a third of the way up, April started to get blisters on both of her heels, but determined to not be defeated, she pushed though the pain. Reaching the summit before sunrise, we cozied up next to each other and watched the sunrise before bandaging April's Heels and heading down. On the way down we enjoyed both the iconic mountain goats and the beautiful wildflowers that grow in Timpanogos Basin.
