S. 28th St. Double Railroad Crossing, MTS Trolley Light Rails Meet & Pass, San Diego CA

I finally got back out rail fanning after a long break for family plus the last few weeks I've been out I missed all trains. At Gaslamp I had seen the H-SDGBAR sitting near Fifth Ave but chose not to chase it as it was already rightvon top of me and would not be able to set up in time for the activation. Once I got to the National City yard, I saw the V-SDGCLO auto carrier train creeping towards Civic Center Dr but couldn't film it because the crossing activated as I tried to get setup, so Imcontinued north but turned around to see if the train would clear Civic Center Dr but it was too longnso I came here to catch it after it was done switching. The train did not come for 45 minutes, in which I caught a whole lot of Light Rails and chose these 3 clips to upload. Eventually I left to see if It was done switching and of course then it came so I went instead to Sampson St to catch it.

Metropolitan Transit System Trolley Light Rails stop at Harborside Station and pass through the South 28th Street Double Railroad Crossing on the MTS Trolley Bluec Line in San Diego, California. The close crossing is an ATSF 1940s to 1950s install with changes to its bells, gates, and gate mechs which used to be RACO Hydraulic. The far crossing is an MTS mid 2010s install with changes to the far signals bells.
