📝 Ingredients:
Fresh Thambosa fish pieces
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander (dhaniya) powder
1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala powder
½ tsp jeera (cumin) powder
2 tbsp corn flour
Salt as per taste
1 tbsp lime juice
Oil for frying
👩🍳 Method:
Clean the fish pieces properly and pat them dry using a kitchen towel.
In a large bowl, add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, dhaniya powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, garam masala, jeera powder, corn flour, salt, and lime juice.
Mix everything well to form a thick marinade.
Apply the masala evenly on the fish pieces and coat properly on all sides.
Cover and marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator for best flavor.
Heat oil in a pan on medium flame.
Gently place the marinated fish pieces in hot oil and fry on medium flame until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Remove and place on tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
Serve hot with sliced onions, lemon wedges, and green chutney.
✅ Tip: You can shallow fry for a healthier option or add a few curry leaves while frying for extra aroma.
