1 large (28 oz) can baked beans (do not drain)
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can butter beans, drained
1 can pinto beans, drained
1/2 lb ground beef
3-4 slices bacon, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
Sauce Ingredients
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup ketchup
2-3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon liquid smoke (adjust to taste)
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
🔥 Instructions
1. Cook the Meat
In a large skillet over medium heat:
Cook the bacon until it starts to crisp
Add the ground beef and chopped onion
Cook until the beef is fully browned and the onion is soft
Drain excess grease if needed
2. Assemble the Crock Pot
Add to the slow cooker:
Baked beans (with liquid)
Kidney beans
Butter beans
Pinto beans
Cooked beef, bacon, and onion mixture
3. Make the Sauce
Add directly into the crock pot:
Brown sugar
Ketchup
Apple cider vinegar
