Lee's career as a Savile Row tailor began in the nineties, after graduating from the prestigious London College of Fashion. His initiation into the world of modern tailoring was with Tom Brown's Bespoke, where he specialised in making waistcoats for both Eton College and Old Etonians alike.

Lee's grandparents were in fact tailors from Jamaica. He remembers his grandmother making colourful and flamboyant costumes for London's Notting Hill Carnival. As a result, he was raised in an environment surrounded by craftsmanship and tailoring. His grandfather, a defining influence, encouraged and fired Lee's ambitions to become a tailor on the world-famous Savile Row.

Three years with Tom Brown's Bespoke were followed by a place with the esteemed Henry Pool. Soon after, an opportunity arose with an opening at the legendary Gieves and Hawkes, where Lee started an apprenticeship under Dennis Cooper, formerly of the prestigious Kilgour Group. Under Cooper's tutelage, Lee went on to become a highly regarded coat maker, whilst making the serendipitous discovery that his mentor Dennis did, in fact, make coats for his boyhood idol Sean Connery.

In 2006, Lee became a coat maker at H. Huntsman and Son, a bespoke tailor with over 167 years of tradition. Here, Lee's mentoring and teaching skills offered the young apprentices invaluable insight into the art of coat making, a dedicated process that takes five years to accomplish.

Another highlight of Lee's career is when he was selected, with a team of tailors, to help produce jackets for Colin Firth in the film Kingsman: The Secret Service in 2015.

In 2013, Lee decided to establish his own brand, 'Lee Marsh Bespoke', offering a fusion of traditional tailoring and modern bespoke flair. He continues to explore the marriage between traditional craft and contemporary couture. Lee's is the first company on Savile Row to specialise in jackets only.
