Ashong (DNA), founder of Take back the mic TBTM Studios, is the creator and host of the 2021 Gold & Silver Telly-Award-winning TV show, The Mic, which also won the “International Innovative Media” Award at the 2022 Murex D’Or in Dubai. Harvard Graduate. TV host and producer, and Billboard-recognized Hip Hop songwriter. He is a pioneer in producing multi-platform interactive content for global audiences, and has hosted his own radio show for Oprah; a TV show for ABC/Disney. Nominated for an Emmy. He has twice been a finalist for the Interactive Emmy Awards. Lucia Brawley is Chief Growth Officer and co-founder of TBTM Studios, She is the writer and an executive producer of The Mic: Africa, which won both Gold and Silver Telly Awards, opposite companies like HBO, Disney, Netflix, Al-Jazeera, and Electronic Arts, and generated 850 Million media impressions and 5 Times Square billboards in its first year. She was also a producer on two-time Interactive Emmy finalist, "Take Back the Mic: The World Cup of Hip Hop." Lucia organized for both Barack Obama presidential campaigns, growing a team of 4 volunteers into 2,000 members and helping candidate Obama win California’s 33rd congressional district by the largest margin in that state’s primary. She is a regular contributor to national outlets including CNN.com and the Huffington Post, and earned a place at the top of CNN.com's "Most Popular Op-Eds of 2018." She performed as a young ballerina for the Joffrey Ballet and Jacques D’Amboise at New York’s Lincoln Center, City Center, and Madison Square Garden, and went on to a successful acting career in theater, film, and television in New York, Los Angeles, and Europe working with legendary actresses Viola Davis and Angela Bassett, and world-class directors, including Oliver Stone and Barry Levinson. Lucia is a graduate of Harvard with a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Yale.
