Ingredients:
Wheat flour/gehun ka aata: 250 grams
Salt/bareek namak: 1/4th teaspoon
Sugar/shakar: 2 tablespoon for each bread or roti
Clarified butter/pure ghee or oil: as per the requirement
Procedure:
1. Add wheat flour and salt to a bowl.
2. Mix well. Add water gradually and gather into a tough/hard dough.
3. Knead the dough, cover and leave this for about 10 to 15 minutes.
4. After 15 min, knead the dough again and divide into 5 equalportions.
5. Take a portion and roll out into a small round bread using dry wheat flour.
6. Apply 1/2 teaspoon clariified butter or pure ghee or use oil instead of ghee. (use ghee in small quantity to prevent breakage of roti).
7. Spread the applied ghee or oil all over the bread.
8. Add 2 tablespoons sugar, press and spread this over the bread.
9. Fold and seal this bread or roti.
10. Using dry flour, flatten into a medium sized roti or bread.
11. Add this flattened bread to a pre-heated and greased pan.
12. When the roti/bread is 1/4th cooked, flip and cook the other side.
13. Apply 1/4th teaspoon clariifed butter or pure ghee or apply 1/2 teaspoon oil to the side facing you.
14. Applying ghee or oil on both the sides, cook the bread thoroughly.
