The Global Foundation for Ocean Exploration engineers built the Deep Discoverer (D2) and Seirios for deep sea exploration. Telepresence, manipulator arms for sampling, and upgraded video systems are just a few systems that were created by the GFOE team to make these expeditions open to the world.

All footage was gathered aboard NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer with ROV Deep Discoverer and ROV Seirios, which are designed, maintained, and operated by the Global Foundation for Ocean Exploration in partnership with NOAA Ocean Exploration.
