In this video, I take on The Beasts with Red XIII in a No Damage, No Materia challenge run in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This is the World’s First under these specific restrictions!

Round 1: Amphidex x6 🐸
The strategy was to get 2 ATB bars fast so I could use Stardust Ray and get the finish quickly! 🌌

Round 2: Mastodon 🐘
The strategy was to get 2 ATB bars for Stardust Ray. I’ve noticed in these challenges that Stardust Ray is a great way to interrupt the enemy! It creates a perfect opportunity to use Red XIII’s Vengeance Mode - spinning attack, which in my opinion is the best for building that stagger bar. No other character does it like Red! 🌀 Once staggered, the fight was basically over.

Round 3: Gigantoad 👅
The strategy was similar to previous rounds, but also focused on parrying to fill the Vengeance bar. It worked even better with the Mystic Collar Weapon Skill "Enduring Vengeance", which increases mode duration! ⏳ This made the fight easier later on, ending it with Retaliation. 💥

Round 4: Levridon 🦩
The strategy was to block or avoid the first attack, then make sure to have 1 ATB bar so I could protect myself with Sentinel Stance and fill the Vengeance bar as much as possible. 🛡️ Just before Levridon recovered from the first stagger, I used Stardust Ray to interrupt him. This let me do extra damage and always keep 1 ATB bar ready for Sentinel Stance protection! ⚡

Round 5: Great Malboro 🤮
The goal here was to fill the Limit bar and guarantee enough damage for a Bloodfang finish. If you're wondering why I waited so long to use Vengeance mode, it's because I wanted to get hit by "Tentacle Whirl" on purpose. This filled my Limit bar faster, and by popping Vengeance right as it hit, I avoided the damage entirely. I had to finish him before he could use Fetid Haze, which releases a toxic cloud that deals rapid, consecutive damage—draining HP way faster than normal Poison! 💨 I once managed to escape this attack without getting hurt, and it’s a shame I didn’t record it because I still don’t know how I managed it! 😂
