Good evening, Australia. Do not adjust your TV sets, I have taken control of your airwaves to deliver an important message from the former state of Victoria, or as it is now known, the People’s Republic of Hookturnistan. As you know, President Andrews, in his benevolence, has again provided proof of his infinite wisdom and unending love for his people, by extending our glorious honour-bound lockdown. Here in Hookturnistan, our roadmap to recovery has been driven by science. And yes, it’s a long road. More of a backroad really. Bumpy, full of unexpected potholes, but that’s what you get when you get a road designed by doctors. I mean they’re not civil engineers.
