I thought I could hear some Russians outside so went to have a look... and was disappointed to find it was just some annoying council workers... who were listening to the worst pop 'music' at maximum volume (all day)... y'know to generate a simulacrum of energy & excitement...
so thought I should take some footage, add my own soundtrack and exorcise all mass media demons from my magic space...
(I presume one of the reasons they blare 'orrible electro-pop music is so anyone who takes footage of the fireworks will automatically have it identified and linked by the sound recording of the copyrighted music... I believe some police forces have experimented with the same concept to stop people live streaming protests by playing loud pop music that Youtube would automatically tag and block)
And... my predictive prophecy for 2026... year of the horse... the 1812 Overture will be a popular piece of music again... 🐎
Remember kids... hit the ground running... and don't get drafted by the bankers...
