ALLOPATHY
Allopathy is derived from the Greek word allos means "other or different" and pathos means
disease or suffering in combination it means "other an the disease". The term Allopathy was given by was given by Samuel Hahnemen in early 19th century.
In this drugs are manufactured using synthetic chemical or chemical derived from natural products like Plant, Animal and Mineral source. Various drug like tablets, capsule, injection, tonic etc.It also uses modern equipments for diagnosis, analysis, and surgery.
Role of Pharmacognosy in Allopathy
1. Pharmacognosy plays a diverse role in the discovery, characterization, production an standardization of these drugs.
