How I Start New Projects With AI and Stay in Control

In this video, I walk through the very beginning of a brand new project.

This is not a tutorial.

Instead, I’m showing my decision-making process when starting a project in the age of AI - what I automate immediately, what I deliberately do by hand, and why.

We’re moving fast, but with intention.

I explain why I’m going with a Vue SPA and a Laravel backend in a monorepo, why I’m not using Inertia this time, and how I use AI more like a rubber duck than a code generator.

The core idea is simple:

First understand. Then automate.

If I don’t fully understand a solution, I write it manually until I do. Only then do I delegate it to AI.
