Full-Body Weight Plate Challenge: 4 Rounds of Strength & Sweat!
This intense full-body workout blasts all your major muscle groups in just 4 rounds. Each exercise hits multiple areas, maximizing your time under tension for serious calorie burn and muscle building. Grab a weight plate you can handle for 10 repetitions with good form, and get ready to work!
The Rundown:
Rounds: 4
Reps per Exercise: 10 (each side for unilateral exercises)
Rest: 60 seconds between exercises
The Exercises:
1. Cross-Body Floor Press (10 reps on each side): Start in a plank position with a weight plate in one hand, directly under your shoulder. Lower your chest towards the ground, rotating your torso to press the weight plate towards the ceiling on the opposite side. Return to the plank and repeat on the other side.
2. Reverse Lunge Drive (10 reps on each side): Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding the weight plate at chest level. Step backward with one leg, lowering your body into a lunge. As you push back up to standing, drive the weight plate straight up overhead. Repeat on the other side.
3. Push-Up to Bent-Over Row (10 reps): Start in a high plank position. Lower yourself into a push-up, then as you come back up, row the weight plate towards your side, keeping your core engaged. Lower the weight back down and repeat on the other side.
4. Suitcase Deadlift & Replace (10 reps): Stand with your feet hip-width apart, holding the weight plate in one hand by your side. Step to the side with the opposite leg, lowering your body into a squat while keeping your back straight (like a suitcase deadlift). Stand back up and bring the weight plate back to your side. Repeat on the other leg.
Remember:
Maintain proper form throughout the workout.
Choose a weight plate that challenges you for 10 reps but allows you to maintain control.
Rest for 60 seconds between exercises and 2-3 minutes between rounds.
This workout can be done solo or with a partner!
