Friday night's big Catholic Conference showdown between defending Division II champs Catholic Memorial and back-to-back division I state champs Xaverian lived up the hype. Every year this game comes down to the last possession, the Hawks were in search of their first win over their rivals from West Roxbury since 2018 while the high powered Knights were looking to extend their winning streak to 17 games. Friday night's matchup saw Colgate bound wide receiver Christian McIntyre had an outstanding game as he put up 112 receiving and a touchdown and added a rushing touchdown, sophomore running back Rocco Sestito ran for 174 yards and a touchdown. The game came down to the legs of Zander Govostes who knocked in a field goal as time expired to give the Hawks the victory to move to 4-2 on the season.
