You know how there are urban legends about old synths being found in skips? Well, here’s a real one. Synthesiser Dave was given a Korg Delta a few years ago. The person who passed it on was a bit cagey about where it had come from at the time, saying he’d picked it up cheap. Last year he confessed the truth – he found it in a skip. For real. Along with a Korg MS-20 and a Korg sequencer. We can but dream.
Anyway, it turns out the Korg Delta had been mistreated by its previous owner and Dave needs to get it fixed up so we can enjoy the sounds of 1978 in full polyphony (all 49 notes of it!)
