“Sunny Porthcawl” - An Early Morning Seafront Walk (Before The Crowds)

Описание: A walk along Porthcawl’s seafront from the pier and harbour to Rest Bay.
I make the most of the sunny dry weather and get out early before the crowds.

The walk to Rest Bay is about 1.5 miles (3miles) return and the walkway and promenade is also the route for Porthcawl’s park run.

From Porthcawl Pier, the walk follows the rocky coast and bays until you reach the golden stretch of sands of Rest Bay.

On the way, you pass Lock’s Common with all its yellow flowers from the Gorse bushes. Lock’s common looks southwest over the Bristol Channel and across Swansea Bay.

If you want to extend the walk you can continue along the coast alongside Royal Porthcawl golf club until you get to Sker House and beyond that is Kenfig Dunes.
