Описание: Members of parliament will be sworn in today at 3pm, and not on Saturday as earlier planned. Mps ambushed the government on the floor of the house, and amended a procedural motion by the leader of government business, Kalonzo Musyoka that sought a special parliamentary sitting on Saturday morning. The lawmakers insisted that they must take an oath to uphold the new law tomorrow, just like the president, the prime minister, the vice president, the speaker and the chief justice. Francis Gachuri reports.
