Описание: In this presentation we follow freight and passenger trains along the Main North Line. This line runs between Christchurch and Picton in the South Island and travels through some spectacular ocean scenery along the Pacific Coast. This is also known as the Kaikoura coast. This is also the route of the Coastal Pacific which is KiwiRail Secnic's additional summer passenger train that travels between September and May each year. We look at heavy freights hauled by DX locomotives and we see them working hard on the steep grades along North Canterbury and the Coast line. So sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery and of course the trains!
