Most Ghanaian parents and children view science as the ultimate area of study and “doctor” as the ultimate profession. This results from an educational bias that poorly addresses practicality, a problem that can be solved by making science fascinating to impressionable young students.
Dr. Thomas Tagoe is a PhD holder in Neuroscience, basketball lover and a die-hard Leicester City fan. He is Co-founder of GhScientific, a project that seeks to solve the problem of poor science education and communication in Ghana.
