In this heart-warming leela Swami Mukundananda describes Lord Shiva coming to Gokul to get a glimpse of baby Krishna. Mother Yashoda answered the door, but, in her deep, ecstatic love for Shree Krishna, did not recognize the visitor as Lord Siva. Instead mother Yashoda is petrified by Bholenath’s appearance & refuses to grant him the audience. Lord Shankar tries to reason with mother Yashoda but to no avail. Finally disappointed, Lord Shiva returns to the bank of Yamuna & starts meditating on Shri Krishna.
