Hiking at the Franconian Switzerland near Heiligenstadt in late February 2023. Cold and interesting.

Описание: After a half a year I thought it´t time for a new video in the franconien swizerland. Personally I like ot to go hiking and visiting the region and there was this hiking trail in my opinien the best to keep it in form of a video.

My trip:
I went by car to the old and known old building called "Schulmuele" and start with the trail exeacly behind the building. The trail was going along a part of clear streams, over a old water wheel, a nature spring and up to a high platou. There I went over an half an hour. I was not the only person who had the idea to make a hiking tour, all five minutes I saw someone who had the same idea like me. Before I took the way to the next bigger village "Heiligenstadt" I arrived a pavilion. There I had a great view to the village and the region. Short time after leaving the pavilion, a part with rocks came. 20 minutes later I was back at the "Schulmuehle". According to description the building is a place for tasting schnapps. But nowbody was there and the house was like a lost place.

20 minutes later I visitet the "Heiligestadt". The marking place was empty but a restaurant was open. There I enjoed a traditional food of the region called rost carp and went for the end of the tour to the famous castle "Greifenstein". It was however a intersiting hiking tour.


About the franconien swizerland:
Which region in the north part of Bavaria os more famous as the region between Bayreuth and Bamberg. Its accriding to a tourists list of the german medias the best region for tourists from Bavaria, Germany and the Europe. But still not all. The franconien swiss is also popular by people from the USA and Asia. The calk rocks, the tradition of beer and schnapps production and the time in spring time, when the cherry trees are bloming, makes the region attractive for tourists. The franconien swizerland beguns at the town "Lichtenfels" via Bamberg, the town "Forchheim" and goes over in the franconien alb and down to the river Donau and Altmuel. One of the most famous mountains of the germans low mountain range landscapes is the Walberla. Other known the region between the Walberla and the village "Pottenstein". This is under natives known as the health peace of the region. The franconien swizerland has also many legends and says at the landscape. Where do you waiting for. Comev to Bavaria and visit the francoien swizerland.
