Описание: In this video from the IKONICS Imaging Maintenance Tips series, we cover the Pneumatic Foot Valve on CrystalBlast sandcarvers: what it does, why it sticks, how to replace it safely, and how to plumb it correctly. Repetitive use can wear the button guides so the plunger binds, and moisture in the airline can also cause sticking, so keep moisture out and ensure the machine’s inline airline filter is installed to prevent abrasive from reaching the treadle. For replacement, cut air to the machine, verify pressure is at zero, disconnect the Pisco push-to-connect hoses, loosen the mounting nut from underneath, and lift the valve out. We show the factory filter on the valve body, when it can be removed to simplify maintenance, and how to reconnect ports by their labels: CIL to the Tube-O-Matic cylinder, NO as the supply that feeds the media valve during idle, and NC as the exhaust that bleeds the line when you step on the pedal. Orient the plumbing in a V pattern rather than a U or the pedal will not function. Let us know in the comments if you have any questions.
