Vignesh Ishwar is one of the leading young Carnatic vocalists of today, admired for his sonorous voice, effortless brigas, sensitive expression, and engaging stage presence. Born in Mumbai, he began training at the age of four under Palakkad T. S. Anantharama Bhagavathar and later came under the mentorship of T. M. Krishna, whose guidance shaped his introspective artistry. Alongside his musical journey, he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Sound and Music Technology from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, reflecting his deep interest in the intersection of music and technology. An A-Grade artiste of All India Radio, Vignesh has performed at major sabhas across India and abroad, winning accolades such as the Best Concert Award from the Music Academy (2019), the Shanmukha Sangeetha Shiromani Award, and the Kedaram Yuva Ganamurthy title. His music combines technical precision with bhava-rich delivery, drawing both scholarly appreciation and wide audience appeal. Beyond performance, he is involved in initiatives like Svanubhava, Art in Prisons, and educational outreach, underscoring his vision of making Carnatic music accessible and socially relevant. Meaning:

O my mind, The Lord always has his way, He gets things done exactly as he wills.

O my mind, The very same Lord who himself taught the noble path of righteousness, falsified it in practice, and instead held firmly to his own stand.

He spoke words suited to the occasion and and then acted in the following ways…,

1 .As if slighting (or disregarding) his own parents, Devaki and Vasudeva, He spoke words that suited the situation.
2. He is the Lord of Srirangam, the origin of the sacred Ganga, and the very fountainhead of the musical tradition.
3. He, who without fulfilling the desires of the Gopikas, instead playfully teased and made fun of them.
4. The Supreme Lord continually enchants the maidens, making them both captivated by him and also bow to him in worship; as Yasoda kissed him lovingly as her son, He simply smiled sweetly.
5. When I behold him in the lotus of my heart, I see him as the compassionate protector of devotees, the ocean of virtues, ever sinless, and the reliever of the troubles of this Kali age.
6. Even when I pray to him with many exalted names , Rama of the Raghu dynasty, gentle and sweet-spoken, recliner on Seṣha, brother of the supreme Goddess, unborn Lord, rider of Garuḍa, king of kings, flawless and lotus-eyed — still, He does not protect me.
7. Even when I extol him as Sri Venkaṭesa, self-effulgent, supreme among all, dwelling in the hearts of the virtuous, adorned in golden garments with crown and ear-ornaments — He, Lord Ramachandra praised by Thyagaraja, only speaks fitting words and acts otherwise.

He spoke words suited to the occasion, “This is the conduct of true devotees; I accept your worship; fear not; do not join with those who turn away; be patient even in distress.” Yet, though He is the bestower of the bliss of self-control and discipline (Sama, dama, etc.), the Lord praised by Thyagaraja, He did not draw near, but merely had his say.
