Household Codes and Spiritual Warfare (Ephesians 5-6) │ One People in Christ (Session 4) Paul’s letter to the Ephesians is a powerful articulation of the Christian gospel—a drama in which the God of Israel enacts the divine will for cosmic redemption in Christ (Eph 1:10). The apostle summons us to inhabit this story and so to embrace our “in Christ” identity. In an age of hyper-individualism, deconstruction, and deep-seated division, Ephesians offers a clarion call to the people of God to work out authentic Christian unity. This session covers Ephesians 5 and 6. Special attention is given to the household codes and spiritual warfare.
