Labour was invented to make a democracy of opportunity. Our country pioneered modern freedom. But there is no freedom worth its name without security. And no security without wealth. Thats why we should be fixing the inequality of wealth that so scars our nation. That was the argument I made in Parliament in reply to the King’s Speech.
