Switch day! Paj and CWWS play Flashback on the Nintendo Switch

To be honest I'm not sure how I acquired Flashback on my family PC back in the early 90s. It very well may have been a shareware game (anyone old enough to remember those?), but I can't be sure. Regardless it was a game I truly remembered.

It captured my imagination with (for the time) incredibly fluid motion controled graphics and beautiful vividly colored had drawn backgrounds. It had an amazing sci-fi plotline which was leaps and bounds above stuff that was in the arcade or on consoles... actually computer games were always quiet a bit more epic and engrossing in terms of scope for those times. Games like Kings Quest, Space Quest, Warcraft, Diablo were just aimed at an older audience.

I remember Flashback being so incredibly hard to figure out because we played on a keyboard and not a joystick. Since it was just loaded on our computer we did not have instructions and there was no internet to figure things out. So you just kinda had to trial and error it...

Still I have great memories of trying to figure this game out with my sister from growing up and it is great we got to revisit this classic together.
