CWWS plays Backbone (prologue) pixel art pc game on Steam

C Double W's back again, This time with a new PC game from an older forgotten era! I have seen lately a lot of fantastically vivid and animated pixel art games coming on the horizon. Any one following my channel can see that I have an affinity of this style of game, I have played a few recently, Indianna Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Flashback, and Now Backbone.

You can see in this video, the leaps and strides this style of game has made since the nineties. In fact this game has probably won me over as the most beautiful pixel art game I have ever played! The attention to detail and the colors are stunning!

Backbone seems to me a point and click adventure/mystery game, harkening back to police quest type puzzle games. The cool twist is all the characters are animals, actually I got a PS4 game a couple years ago that sort of reminds me of this game: Blacksad. Very similar feel (film noir/mystery) but with much better graphics.
