This will keep the y axis belts and axles from moving, flexing or vibrating during printing which will improve your quality of prints. I would do this to all CTC, Flashforge style printers.

Here is where I purchased the axle bearings from Hobby Town. They have them in stock for RC cars axles. You can pick from 3-5 ranging in prince. I went with the $6 bearings

Installing the bearings and bracket involved removing the belt gear, belt and pulleys then sliding on the new brackets. You only have to remove one set of gears and belt per rod to do this. You can slide both brackets on the rod at the same end. You just have to loosen the set screws on the belt gear so you can slide the rod to one side. Then putting back on the belt gears. Drill 2 holes for each bracket and bolt and tighten.
You will love this update to your printer if you want to improve the quality of your prints. It's a $10 or less update that's worth it. Send me any questions if you have any.
