Black smoke was seen rising from an industrial building on Sunday (March 1) in Doha's industrial area, amid rising US-Iran tensions in the region.
Qatar's Ministry of Interior said it dealt with a minor fire caused by falling shrapnel following an interception of a missile, and that no injuries were reported.
Several loud blasts were heard in the Dubai area and over the Qatari capital Doha for a second day on Sunday (March 1), witnesses said, after Iran launched retaliatory strikes on the neighboring Gulf states in response to U.S. and Israeli strikes on the Islamic Republic.
Iran has said it would target U.S. bases in the region. It has hit a range of other targets.
