Guitarra construida por Francisco Simplicio en 1932 en Barcelona.
Francisco Simplicio (1874-1932), es uno de los grandes exponentes de la guitarrería en Barcelona y el mundo entero. Esta guitarra es la última construida por Francisco Simplicio que sepamos, siendo de una importancia histórica destacada, ya que hasta la aparición de esta guitarra se pensaba que la última construida por Francisco Simplicio era la número 342.
Desde muy joven, Miguel Simplicio colaboró construyendo guitarras junto a su padre Francisco Simplicio. Al fallecer Francisco en el año 1932, no pudo firmar las etiquetas de sus guitarras ya acabadas, sin embargo, estas sí conservan su etiqueta original con su correspondiente numeración. Ante la necesidad de firmar la etiqueta siguiendo la tradición, fue Miguel Simplicio quien las firmó en nombre de su padre, siendo esta la número 343. A partir de esta guitarra, las siguientes construidas por Miguel Simplicio conservan la etiqueta de su padre, pero comienza una nueva numeración.

Francisco Simplicio (1874-1932), is one of the great exponents of guitar making in Barcelona and the whole world. This guitar is the last one built by Francisco Simplicio that we know of, being of outstanding historical importance, since until the appearance of this guitar it was thought that the last guitar built by Francisco Simplicio iwas number 342.
From a very young age, Miguel Simplicio collaborated building guitars with his father Francisco Simplicio. When Francisco died in 1932, he could not sign the labels of his finished guitars, however, they still have their original label with the corresponding numbering. Faced with the need to sign the label following tradition, it was Miguel Simplicio who signed them in his father's name, this being number 343. From this guitar, the following guitars built by Miguel Simplicio keep his father's label, but a new numbering begins.
