Foreshadowing in Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Spider-Man Miles Morales is a smaller sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man that, while being a shorter game, is no less dense with foreshadowing. Once again, we’re not gonna be doing the whole woah did you know the Tinkerer was Phin like, come on bros, there is never just a best friend character in an Insomniac Spider-Man game without them turning into the bad guy. So, here are some of my favourite instances of foreshadowing in the game, and before we get into it, I just want to say thank you so much for everyone who watched and supported the first foreshadowing video.

During the Rio Morales rally that totally didn’t go wrong, and by the way, we’re two for two on political rallies being the centre of a terrorist attack guys, you might have to start a podcast instead or something. Miles and Genki can be heard talking about learning ASL next year, and while this is likely to communicate with Hailey better, we can see both of them using ASL in the game's sequel when talking with Hailey. Now granted, Miles does eventually use ASL in THIS game, and in that case, this could easily be foreshadowing that Hailey will be at minimum a recurring character, as they’d need a way to communicate with her.

Peter throughout the game is a mentor to Miles. He’s constantly checking up on him in the City That Never Sleeps expansion, and still, even when in Symkaria, is teaching Miles how to be a better Spider-Man. This ranges from explaining the responsibility of the mask to teaching him the endless calculations needed to swing with as much ahem swagger, as he does. play clip In one of these conversations; Miles says that Peter should be a teacher, and guess what? That’s exactly what he does in Spider-Man 2. Now, granted, this doesn’t exactly work out well, but it’s certainly some foreshadowing that was paid off in Spider-Man 2.

This Spider-Man game, Marvels Spider-Man, otherwise known as Spider-Man PS4, or even further known as Spider-Man Remastered, is one of the best games for the console and is considered by many to have the best story. Part of what makes this story so good is the many instances of foreshadowing in Marvels Spider-Man.
