Special Trains operate on certain Saturdays and other days throughout the year
– These Special Events include:
Night Trains (October - February )
Circus Trains (April and September)
Military Trains (in May - around Memorial Day)
Spooky Trains (in October - around Halloween )
Holiday / Night Trains - November through February

Duluth and Missabe & Iron Range - DL-702 / DL-702 - with a freight train passes the P RR freight
Union Pacific - 4-6-2 Pacific Type Steam Locomotive with the Forty-Niner Passenger Train runs on the Stone Arch Bridge (The UP RR was honoring the 1849 California Gold Rush)
Milwaukee Road - GP-35 with local freight
Milwaukee Road - 4-4-2 with the Hiawatha Passenger Train leaves the Depot and crosses a bridge over the Mississippi River
Chicago and NorthWestern - 4-6-0 - 10-Wheeler Type Steam Locomotive pulls a freight train
NOTE - The locomotive is owned by the subsidiary Chicago St. Paul Minneapolis and Omaha Railroad that ran through the Twin cities.

The Children's Area has many different layouts for the girls and boys to operate as well as work tables to create and build models
There is a LEGO Work Area and Thomas the Tank Trains to run as well.
