One of the greatest Polish prewar Schlagers ! Tango "Już nigdy..." (Never Again...) composed by Jerzy Petersburski. Evergreen played and sung since the year of its creation, 1930, which took place in the cabaret-theatre Morskie Oko, Warszawa.
I have a pleasure in presenting it in the very first interpretation and the first
recording - made by the legendary artist of that time, Vera Bobrowska.
In the video, I ventured to combine this record with another recording of
that tango, made by Zygmunt Malinowski also in 1930, the vaudeville actor
and singer of the period. They are joined together as smoothely as I was
able to perform it. The second record slowed down and stopped at the end
of playing - the capacity of the motor spring of my Bobby cannot yield
anything more. -
