Police in kira have arrested two suspected of obtaining money from people by promising them positions as Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) and Deputy RDCs.
The suspect has been identified as Juliet Nganda, a resident of Bweyogerere Central in Kira Municipality and Kayigwa Edi a resident of Buvuma.
There arrest followed a complaint by a man from whom they allegedly asked for more than 2.5 million shillings, promising to secure him a job as a Deputy RDC. Police say they have been charged with obtaining money by false pretenses and fraud.
