“The next speaker cannot be outside the NRM Party,” according to the former government spokesperson, Ofwono Opondo.
Opondo is among the MP-Elect for the 12th Parliament and debunks media Reports that the NRM Party could front DP’s Norbert Mao as the next speaker, based on the corporation agreement.
In an exclusive interview with UBC TV, Ofwono Opondo says this is far-fetched.
