In a tragic incident, an air ambulance operated by Redbird Airways Private Limited crashed near Simaria in Chatra district, Jharkhand on Monday night. The Beechcraft C90 aircraft was en route from Ranchi to Delhi carrying a critically burn-injured patient and medical crew members.

All seven people on board, including the patient, doctors, pilot Captain Vivek Vikas Bhagat, co-pilot Sabrajdeep, and medical staff, lost their lives in the devastating crash.

According to officials, the aircraft took off from Ranchi at 7:11 PM and was scheduled to land in Delhi around 10 PM. DGCA sources confirmed that radar contact was lost at 7:34 PM. Hours later, authorities confirmed that all seven occupants had died in the accident.

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has dispatched a team to investigate the cause of the crash.
