We continue our exploration of Paul's first letter the Corinthians. Corinth was a cosmopolitan Roman city with Greek roots, a port city with all the commerce, colourful culture and excess that entails. Paul was here for 18 months which you can read about in Acts 18. In some ways things were going well, but in others they were not. Paul has been sent a letter of concern and this is his reply explaining how to live out the Gospel in daily life, in worship and in community together. As ever, Jesus, crucified, risen and ascended, needs to be at the centre of this church family. Let's see what the Holy Spirit has to say to us through this extraordinary letter.
