A shocking case of brutality has emerged from Gurugram, where a 19-year-old woman accused her live-in partner of subjecting her to extreme physical and mental torture. The accused allegedly poured sanitiser on her private parts and set them on fire, assaulted her with a knife, and kept her confined in a room for several days. The victim said the accused had forced the relationship on the false promise of marriage after they met through an online platform and later began living together.


The survivor managed to alert her mother, who immediately informed the police, leading to her rescue and hospitalisation. She was later referred to Safdarjung Hospital due to the seriousness of her injuries. Police have arrested the accused and filed multiple serious charges, including rape and assault. Officials say the accused is currently in jail and the investigation is ongoing, with authorities seeking the strictest possible punishment.
