Gurugram Shocker: Flight Attendant Alleges Sexual Assault on Ventilator at Medanta Hospital

Описание: A deeply disturbing case has emerged from Gurugram's Medanta Hospital, where a 46-year-old trainee flight attendant from West Bengal has alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a ward staffer while being on ventilator support in a semi-conscious state. The woman was admitted on April 5 following a near-drowning incident during flight training and the assault allegedly occurred on April 6 during critical care. Despite the presence of two nurses, she claimed they did not intervene. Due to her physical condition, she was unable to resist or cry for help. She shared her ordeal after being discharged on April 13, and a police complaint was promptly filed. A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for molestation and misconduct by a caregiver. The Gurugram police are now conducting a full investigation, including scanning CCTV footage and recording her statement before a magistrate. Medanta Hospital, in its statement, confirmed receiving the complaint and said it is cooperating fully with the investigation, while stressing that the allegations have not yet been proven.
