Bacon and leek pastry bites
Makes: 8
Cooking function: Cool start function 200C for 12 minuets
Prep time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
1 sheet of ready rolled puff pastry
200g streaky bacon ready cooked if possible, some spare to sprinkle on top.
300g cream cheese
1/2 leek cooked and chopped
Black pepper
Method
Cut the puff pastry into 8 even squares.
Blend the bacon so it turns into a dust. Add this to the cream cheese, leeks and pepper until completely combined.
Place the pastry squares on baking parchment. Spread the bacon mixture over the pastry leaving 0.5cm gap around the outside, for the pastry to rise and create golden brown edges.
